Getting Started

One of our counsellors will get in touch to gather details, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and answer any initial questions. This information will be confidentially shared with a therapist, who will then contact you to schedule your initial assessment session.

Sessions

Each session, including the initial assessment, lasts 50 minutes and is held at a mutually agreed time and place each week, unless changes are agreed upon with your counsellor. Sessions can be open-ended (unlimited) or limited to a specific number of sessions (typically a minimum of 8 to 12), which can be negotiated during your assessment session.

Fees

Individual counselling: £50-£60 per session. Payments are typically made via electronic transfer and should be received before the session to confirm your appointment. Alternative payment methods can be arranged if needed.

Couples counselling: £70 per session.

Concessions : In circumstances that demonstrate  a financial need we may, subject to availability, be able to offer a concessionary fee for a limited number of sessions. This can be discussed during your initial phone call with a member of our team.

All fees, standard and/or concessionary, are subject to periodic review.

Cancellations:  Your counsellor will advise of the notification period for the cancellation of a session (typically 7-10 days). If you cancel your session less than the agreed time frame but more than 48 hours, a £10 room reservation fee will be charged.

If you cancel your session within 48 hours of your scheduled time, or you do not attend (unscheduled absence), you will be required to pay the full session fee.

No charge is made for pre-arranged absence.
